Does anyone have experience with a Cree bulb Warranty Claim? I had my first bulb fail this weekend (4 months old). Do you simply send in the bulb with a receipt copy and proof of purchase to the address?

True, it has only been 4 months they may exchange it since I have the original receipt.

home depot and walmart will take *ANYTHING* back

eta nothing wrong with going the cree route other than the fact its more hassle and will take longer than swinging by home depot on the way home from work.

The short answer is yes, they will send you a new bulb. But like others said, just bring it back to Home Depot.

Depends on how long it has been. Last time I tried to return something more than 90 days out, Home Depot rejected me :(

what are you walking in with a receipt for?

as long as you're good with store credit (and who isnt?) just say you lost the receipt.

I noticed moisture inside a couple of the bulbs in my house this last weekend. Anyone else noticed this? The bulbs are indoors and still work, but that can't be a good thing right?

Off topic, but related - I've been pleased with TCP 60 watt equivalent LED light bulbs: Amazon TCP Link

I've had them in service for 10 months. $4/bulb with Prime membership is a decent price.
