I've had Cox bundle cable, internet, phone for 13 years. I postponed service bc we flooded in August. Im searching around now bc not sure what Im going back with once we move back in this summer.
Living w inlaws and they have the newer cox contour which does not seem bad.

Things to know...

definitely eliminating the land phone line.
upgrading to 4K tv.
have ATT cell phones.
I have 2 apple Tvs (kids) and recently got a firestick (jailbroken) for Christmas from my brother.
Wife has to watch TV while on treadmill in exercise room.
Occasional TV watching outside on patio TV.
internet will need to fuel up to 5-6 devices possibly

SO...

I assumed that needing a "box" on that many TVs would make it more expensive to switch to direct?
I like the firestick/apple TV for Movies of course, but like the convenience of not having to move those devices from TV to TV when watching (outside, exercise room, etc).

Please advise regarding prices, options etc.

TIA

If you live in EBRP:
Step 1: Cox 150mbs internet and 20 local channel package (~$64.99/mo)
Step 2: Buy a chromecast and Install Kodi
Step 3: ????
Step 4: Winning

This is what I'm about to do.

Cox is gonna be your best bet for fast, reliable internet in BR. No way around that

I'm looking at ditching Cox for ATT Fiber and Uverse. I can get locked in at 2 years saving me about $75/month with just about same package. Looking for feedback on uverse.

Feedback on Uverse TV has not been positive from my research/polling here.
I have heard by many to stay clear and it is complete garbage.
I'm currently leaning towards the DirectTV choice TV package (has ESPNs and SECN) and the 1000mpbs ATT fiber internet package unless someone can talk me out of it.
Right now that offer comes in around $130 (24 month deal) then goes up $55...
