I cut the cord years ago and have found it very difficult to watch Braves games the last few years. Now I have MLB.TV for free through T-Mobile, but the blackout restrictions apply. Should I use a VPN to get around that? How legal is that? I'm not super tech savvy and was hoping some of y'all could give me some answers.

Nord VPN worked for me last season. Had to change some DNS settings on the Apple TV box to watch games that were blacked out due to local market. Then Hulu wouldn’t work and it took a few days for me to figure out that I needed to change DNS back when I wasn’t watching baseball. Once you get it to work, turn off auto updates and don’t update the MLB app. I plan on trying it again this season.

Congress is currently considering legislation that would make it illegal.

Just can’t let us have anything nice.

I did it all last year and watched the Braves and avoided the blackout. I used NordVPN and it worked like charm. If you have a fire stick there is even a NordVPN app you can download and use that to watch.

Unlocator DNS routing is also a good option, that way you aren't routing your entire tunnel to a new location, also decently cheap.
