CAD tip of the day (too late for y'alls end of year term papers though!)

if you don't want to waste your time looking for some shitty free dragonspeak utility or something to turn your voice to text while creating a document, i discovered a really simple and effective trick.

1. open a google doc on your PC
2. open the same doc on your phone (works for iphone and android)
3. open the keyboard on the phone and hit the mic button.
4. talk away. as you talk the text magically appears on your computer screen including punctuation.


i'm still faster with a keyboard, but my son was struggling to finish several papers and when i realized he could 'talk' about it much better than type it, i hooked him up with this and he had 6+ page papers 'written' in no time flat.
