On my 10 year old LG TV.
All plugs, wires, etc are plugged in.
It's been going in and out the past few weeks-lots of static when it goes out.

TB-is this thing fried?

Why is he cheap for using something until it breaks?

We all watch 1080i for 85% if out viewing and this guy has saved thousands so far

I'd rather put my money into my stereo equipment. Instead of buying every upgraded TV over the past 10 years I put 5 figures into my music and have had immense pleasure listening to my 6,000 albums and CD's.

I was lucky to get 10 years out of this. Money is not the object here..

Possibly but my 10 year old VISIO 42" 1080p is still going strong.

No he's cheap for wanting to fix what appears to be a massive failure on a 10 year old tv.

Impressive music collection. That blows mine away. I'm like you. I prefer using something until it doesn't work anymore. I had my old TV for 7-8 years before I upgraded to HD. I sure as hell don't miss hauling that boat anchor around anymore.
