Hope this new company comes out with a new name instead of this Dtek crap.

That sucks. But why is TLC/BlackBerry making only budget phones now? The DTEKWhatever was a snoozer spec-wise, right?

The Mercury's official name is the Blackberry KeyOne.

This is going to be a huge flop. Maybe 10 people in the world want to give up screen real estate for a shitty keyboard.

Wait, so you mean to tell me that Blackberry will not sell a shite ton of phones? I would've never guessed.

And to say the keyboard is shitty is just ignorant. It's the most capable physical keyboard there has ever been. Not only is it capacitive and can be used as a trackpad with gestures, it also has a fingerprint scanner built into the spacebar.

So basically you are saying that there is no advantage over a software keyboard.... but you lose 1/3rd of your screen.

Accuracy and no need for auto correct is the biggest advantage. To overlook that is another ignorant assumption on your behalf.

The BlackBerry KeyOne resurrects the keyboard with style

Looks great. That keyboard is so practical. Blends the best of the legendary BB keyboard functions with a modern mobile OS in Android.

I don't pretend to know much about them but I'm pretty sure that's an old one, right?
