It's a lifestyle change really.

Not everything needs to be "full blast"and no restrictions. Sure That $100/month pays for all the tv channels in the world. But is that what we really want in life? Full throttle, park your arse on the couch tv?

Instead of going fishing, riding bikes, playing outside with kids, letting kids be bored and have an imagination, doing new things..

Cutting the cord helps with your wallet and a opens up time for lifestyle change.

The local channels are free.. try it for awhile.

If you need more add something like Netflix and just try it .. see how long you can last without more especially in the summer! The Beauty of streaming services is, on September 1st you can pay for sports channels on sling or whatever and cancel it when sports is over. That way you spend 60-100 bucks for the whole sports season versus busting out $2000 year after year for stuff you don't watch. For habits you didn't want to have..

Part of cord cutting is minimalism so try not to be so concerned with matching every channel for channel in an attempt to save $8/month

Just my 2 cents haha

Trade in the cable TV box for a library card.

There was a recent survey where 40% of Millennials said they prefer watching people play sports video games over watching actual people play sports. I'm not sure what to make of that, but it doesn't suggest to me that people want to unplug and be active outside unless they are taking some pictures for Instagram that will get a lot of likes.

If I can get a guarantee I can watch every Saints and LSU game then I will drop my DIRECTV.

I've been coed cutting since last summer and I've never had a problem with getting every game I want to watch.

Local channels are free with a digital antenna and in hd. I use my parents log in for watchespn or foxsportsnow and the rest.

If you can't use someone's log in, sign up for sling or directvnow or whatever their service is called.

Either way, I've never missed a saints or lsu game because I didn't have cable is my point

Sling/PlayStation Vue/DirecTVNow all get the cable sports channels and NFL Network. Add an antenna for local and you can watch every game that isn't blacked out.

I'm going to be perfectly honest. We have that and I'll put Fox news on on the mornings sometimes and we do the occasional chip and Joanna show on Sunday morning while we're waking up but the rest of time it's Netflix or Exodus.

I only pay to get LSU and SEC network so it's a waste most of the time.

Last year I took advantage of the college student Direct TV NFL Sunday Ticket discount. I've been out of college for a few years now, so I got my friend to pay the $100 for the whole season and I venmo'd her. It is the best deal for NFL games. Me and my roommate split it. $50 for every NFL game. Doing it again this year. It streams on the NFL app on my Xbox One as well

Very easy to do to watch your team out of market.

You can buy international version NFL game pass

I already have my vpn loaded on my fire tv and my game pass log in ready for football season.
