At the present I have cox contour and have been a cox customer for years but the service is horrible here in BR…Either the box goes out or the area downtown has an outage that last for hours…last time 15 hours…
What is my best option…thanks and has anyone else had an issue with cox lately their service is horrible and the contour boxes are junk…

We have AT&T fiber and YouTubeTV. We've had YTT for years and don't miss regular cable. It's not that cheap anymore but to me the main benefit is no contract or extra equipment.

Really just like 50 Mbps if it's just you but you'll have a better experience if you have more. You could stream with less than that.

AT&T will do 500 Mbps for $60 or so. 1 GB is overkill for most but if you want it go for it.

Iptv with content wizards. $25/mo. All channels and PPV. Extremely responsive for the seldom issue that arises

Contentwizards is their protonmail address. You have to send them an email for info.

If you want to try for cheap go to Alibaba(not Aliexpress) and search for IPTV. You can get thousands of worldwide channels including all US channels plus VOD for less than $30 a year.

Some of the Alibaba listings will show a box, but no box is included, it is just the way they list it. If you check to the side where you pick the options to actually order you will see time choices like 6 months, 12 months etc.

They will message you your info to enter in your app like Tivimate etc. Some message in minutes so be sure to check your messages on Alibaba since the email notification can be slow. Some may take a day or so. To speed up you place in the queue you can send then a friendly message letting them know it's your first purchase on Alibaba and wanted to make sure there was nothing else to do. The will answer any questions and many will set you up with a free trial. One guy I delt with has 3 different services and gives you a trail of all 3 and you pick your favorite.

I know it seems sketchy, but I've had great luck with multiple providers, and you can pay with PayPal so you don't have to worry about your card info.
