I’m pretty happy. The cellular was definetly the way to go for me. Since I’ve owned it I never really feel the need to have to have my cell phone around. Ofcourse I usually do but walking around the office has become so much easier. Also when going for a run it is great to not have to being a phone. Worth the money if you ask me, not life changing but a great complimentary item.

Good assessment. My only real disappointment is the extent to which it exceeded previous wearables. Don't get me wrong, it's better than my fitbit or my Garmin (at least for non outdoor stuff), but the bedrock is still notifications and being able to not fish out your phone to see a text or email. I think it's one of those things where I'd say it's nice to have, but if someone took my watch away, I'd really miss it.

Now, a few small things would make a huge difference - Google Maps, for example. Apple Maps is still pretty inferior and Siri is inferior to Google Now. I use them because I have to, but their inferiority takes away some of the utility of the watch.

I wouldn't mind having one, solely for fitness

My speedmaster is my daily wear

Unless I'm going to court or something, I find I wear mine over my other watches (comparable to your Omega).

I imagine that'll go in waves and I'll switch it up at some point, but for now I just prefer the practicality.

Curious...

Do they not allow you to wear them in court since it is basically a phone? Or you'd rather wear a traditional watch in the court room to be more professional?

ETA: nvm I forgot lawyers can bring their phones in. Been a while since I was a courier

Yeah, i totally understand that. I just love my speedy (and mechanicals) so much that I don't want the temptation. My wife has one and loves it. I wouldn't mind having one just for running, but that doesnt seem practical

Her's is version 1, so it's not a stand alone GPS so I would need to the latest one to avoid carrying my phone when jogging, which would be nice.

If it could play my google play music i'd probably get on board for the fitness function alone.

I just am not impressed with any android wear products.

Honestly I haven't tried but I have thought about it. It wouldn't be a big deal to take off to get through security (and at least where I practice attorneys get to take their phones into the courtroom). That said, I'm still not all that confident with how my phone/watch interact and I don't think I'd risk it making noise during court.

I did, at first. But it seems like half the attorneys/doctors/bankers/etc. I see in professional settings are wearing them, so while I still think they look kinda funny, they seem less out of place.
