I bought a leather band off amazon that looked exactly like the $189 apple band. It was only $39. I now know why the apple band is so expensive as the off brand band broke in a couple of weeks and I almost lost my watch when it gave way.

If you value your watch, I wouldn't place much trust in this band.

I ordered one of the knockoff leather ones as well and it crapped out on me too. I mean it's 16.99 and the seller is highly rated, so figured I'd give it a shot. Sure as hell ain't paying 150+ for just the official band.

I hope you notice when it breaks so that you don't lose you watch. If it's a sports model, then you would not be losing so much.
