How have they not thought of this? Them being say the sole provider of easily portable payment methods for NFL stadiums. Or hell even the NBA, or MLB,whoever will bite first. Think of being able to go to the game with say just your phone and your watch not ever having to worry about fraudulent tickets or the worry of paper.
You're very welcome whoever I just made millions for.

And you really could use this for both concessions and the tickets themselves.

The NFL has a deal with Microsoft. It requires them to pretend to like Microsoft stuff. Everyone has to hide their iPads and pretend to use a Surface when there is a camera around.

The Surface destroys the iPad in every way. Isn't even close.

I think they could easily strike a deal with both. They can use Surfaces for their in game and Apple Pay/payment for tickets and concessions.

If you want to compare weight between two devices which aren't remotely similar in capability, I guess you could say weight. That's like saying the Surface weighs more than a legal pad, though.
