Apple/iPad File help

When I first got my iPad I tried to upload videos on it (.mov files). Well they didn't play (iPad 2, at least 3 years old). After one of the updates the videos appeared in my photo album, but now I can't delete them.
I've tried multiple ways of deleting the videos, but nothing works.
I've tried plugging it into my computer and looking for the files and deleting them that way, but they don't show up in any of the photo folders.
Anyone have any other suggestions?? Thanks.

Jailbreak, ifile.
Non jailbreak either synch w iTunes and uncheck photos (deleting all photos)
Or download windows software called ifunbox , no jailbreak needed and will give u access to the raw file structure like windows explorer
LINK
I think u can just hook an iPad up to windows and close iTunes and it shows up as a camera /mounted drive in windows and u can sort all the photos from the mp4s and delete any videos without ifunbox, though it's great software and easy

Yeah, I've tried connecting it to my computer and looking at the photos/pics, but they don't show up. It's almost like they don't exist on the iPad other than the fact that I can play the videos. It's very odd.
