I forgot that the new waterproof iPhone won't come out until later this year and jumped into the Gulf last summer with my iPhone 6. Had it sitting in my wallet caddy ever since. But gave Gazelle a try and they offered me $50...$52.50 if I took the $ in an Amazon Gift Card.

So I sent it off last week and hadn't heard back yet. Is that SOP? I figure so but in general has anyone had experiences with them? Hoping for the best but at the end of the day, it was a water-damaged 64GB iPhone 6...it is what it is.

I've used them about 3-4 times now with turn ins for phones and laptops. Always had a great experience.

You won't hear a lot from them until you get an email letting you know they've accepted it and your money will be arriving shortly. I did like an Amazon credit or something so mine was faster as they just emailed me a code that was redeemable on Amazon's website. If you got just cash, they may be processing your check and mailing it. Could take a few weeks as I recall.

Thanks. I took the Amazon Gift Card myself as I'll be blowing this and some cash I'm getting for an old iPad 2 on a used Neato vacuum. I'll buy it off of Amazon so it makes sense.

They offered me $100ish for an iphone a few years ago. I sent it in and got an email saying the offer changed it they dropped it to around $30 so I had them mail it back to me. I didn't have my phone for about a week with the turnaround. I just put it on craigslist and a local pawn shop bought it for $100.
