Anyone have a SimpliSafe security system?

Adding on to our house and updating the security system. I've been getting quotes from local security companies. I can get the comparable SimpliSafe equipment for about $500 cheaper and the monthly monitoring is cheaper as well. Anyone have it that can tell me if it's crappy or not?

I have it and I feel every bit as safe as with my old ADT system if not more so.
My old ADT system was one of the old systems prior to cellular. Even though I'd been with them for damn near 10 years they wanted damn near 2 grand up front to upgrade my system to cellular. Now I got the $300 defender deal and I'm cellular, get text alerts when my alarm is armed/disarmed, and get emails when anything is weird from the monitoring company. Now there are people out there with complaints but I've tested my system with the monitoring company (COPS) and I'm satisfied that it works.
I guess I'll never know for sure until I have an attempted break in, but I never had one of those with ADT either.
Oh yea I' paying about half what I paid ADT to monitor...25 vs 48/month.

I've had mine for over a year. No problems, easy setup, great price on monitoring. Completely satisfied with the performance of the system. Monitoring company calls within 10 seconds of alarm.

I got mine about a year and a half ago. I was kinda amped up about the camera. I just feel funny about it recording while you're at home. They say cover the lens but still. You might want an extra remote.

No complaints and the alarm call back from Simplisafe is very good.
Have had it since 2012 with door sensors, motion detectors and extra alarms/sirens.
Looking at getting a couple of cameras.
