I was. Until I traded my 6 in to get my 5S back...

Course now I have an "excuse" to get the Apple Watch in case Mrs. Gman gives me any shite.

Said on here many times the new width makes it impossible for me to comfortably "Death Grip" the 6 one handed and type at speed with one thumb I'm used to. It Sux balls. I gave it 3 weeks and never got used to it. 3 months isn't going to help, so I said F it.

American Express is. They sent me an email about it. That's why I think it will work this time, it has a critical mass of companies both supporting it and pushing it. I wouldn't be surprised if we see news stories this week talking about people using it as if it's a big deal (all Apple Pay really does is use credit cards to pay for stuff which we've been doing for decades).

Not really excited about being able to do it with my 6+, been using NFC since I got a Galaxy Nexus years ago.

I am more excited about more places to start having NFC thanks to Apple joining the club.

About what? I have a 6+. Have had every Verizon iPhone to date except the 6. I also have had Android phones that have had this ability, so I am not excited about this one feature.

Not really. I used it on the Nexus 5 a few times and it was neat but I'll have to wait and see how Apple does it.

Its extremely overrated. But Im sure soccer moms and teenage girls will be using their "brain" power across the nation attempting to get it to work

It's probably one of those things I'll use once because I can and that's about it.

As a user of Amex Serve through Softcard , I very much look forward to utilizing the softcard at more places. More chances to get my $1 statement credit before 12/31/14.

Cautiously optimistic.

Aside from TouchID, Apple hasn't really impressed me with new features/releases lately.

Not to derail here, but what are you planning to do 2-3 years from now when you're tired if the 5S? My guess is that it will be the last 4" flagship phone ever made.

I am. I was just thinking how antiquated it is to pull a card out of your wallet, slide it on a machine, push a button, write on a screen with a pen on a wire, push a button, etc.
