Anyone else having major issues with Safari since iOS 9?

Safari has been a tire fire on my 6+ since the update. Literally unusable. When it isn't crashing, it's lagging. Updating to 9.0.1 made it even worse. Everything else is great, just Safari.
Curious as to whether anyone else is having an issue of this nature.

The multiple threads seem to all suggest killing all your tabs and that fixing it. There's also a recent update to ios9 that was released. No problem on my iPad Air 2, fwiw.

I noticed this exact same thing on my iPad.
Running Safari on my iPhone (5) still works fine.

Mine keeps logging out of TD, Facebook, and Netflix every time I change screens. Is there a way to fix this?

Yes! I'm about to go to the apple store without an appointment and murder someone!

Nope. 9.0.1 fixed all my issues

Same here. 9.0.1 cured all my ills.

Safari wasn't useable on my iPhone 6 after updating, but I read somewhere to clear the history. That solved the issue. I'm hesitant to update my iPad Air 2 though.

I downloaded google chrome until they correct the issues.

I also have issues sending PowerPoint files from safari to my PowerPoint app. There used to be a prompt asking where you want to send the file at the top, now with iOS 9 it disappeared. Had to download the Mercury browser from the App Store for a workaround but hopefully they fix it
