Any chance I can buy a 1TB external for under $40?

In the market for my first external HD to save my movies, music, pics, all to in case of emergency. I see amazon has them for around $50+.
Any chance y'all know of a place I don't selling them for $40 or under. Thanks

You don't want to try the cloud? I mean, if you have a physical disaster, that external won't do you any good.
That only protects in the narrow instance of a physical hard drive failure of a non-mirrored, non-backed up drive.
The cloud isn't perfect, but it offers more options, IMHO.

The cloud is fine for files, but an external is much better for movies, especially when traveling.
