Android Group Texts sending failed individual messages

I'm in a group text message (obviously bitching about the Ed O hiring) and when I send a reply, everyone says they're getting failed individual messages from me.
Why does Android text messaging suck so much balls?
Clearly this must be AT&T's fault.

Group messaging was a pain in the arse on my G3. During LSU games when I'd be in a group message with mostly iPhone users, my meassages wouldn't download and my battery would be toast. I tried multiple different messaging apps with no luck. Main reason I jumped to iPhone.

I was using the stock android messaging app. It's ebbed and flowed with me, at one point driving me to apps but I've eventually fallen out of favor with all of them.
Just downloaded Google Messages. Lets give this a whirl and see how it goes.

Textra has solved all of my messaging issues: and, MMS, group text (which is just MMS).
