They aren't very lofty - Something that sounds good, works, and doesn't cost 200$ like a beats pill.

Check out some of the JBL and Bose Models.
They have some cheaper than the Pill.

I am learning guitar and just bought an amp that doubles as a bluetooth speaker. It is complete overkill, but totally amazing.

What are you gonna use it for?
If just using it around the house with an occasional trip to the beach or something you can't beat a JBL Flip 3. You can find them online for ~$70.

you sure your computer supports bluetooth?
and to the OP, need more info as to how you plan to use it. BT speakers suck if you're using it outdoors and don't plan to park your phone right next to it the whole day.

I'd go with the UE Megaboom or the UE Boom. Great for indoors, even better for outdoors and the battery lasts forever on just 1 charge. They sound pretty darn good too and can even be paired for a stereo sound.

You won't find a better portable Bluetooth speaker under $100 than the Cambridge Soundworks Oontz Angle 3 Plus. Only $35 on Amazon.
