Currently have a microsoft wireless mouse, but it's burning through batteries and loosing connectivity often. It's old. This is very similar and runs $146. LINK

Figured I would throw it out here to see any recommendations. It's used primarily a Mapping/CAD type program where 3D modeling is rotated on 3 axis as well as reviewing documents scrolling up/down as well as left/right.

I don't think I need some gaming mouse, just right, left click, scroll/tilt wheel and wheel click, and 2 buttons on the top side of the thumb rest. Has to be wireless.

This i mine. It's bluetooth so it doesn't take up a USB port which I love. I've had it for a few months with no problems.

That's why I'm asking. Seemed high for the microsoft, but that's what I'm replacing so that's where I started.

Is there any quality difference between the microsoft and logitech?

Microsoft hasn't made a decent mouse in 10 years. My current mouse is the Logitech M705 Marathon, which I like a good bit. Amazon has it for $19 right now, and I picked up a spare. I think I paid $40 for my first one.

You can buy a bad arse gaming mouse for that much, and you would get like 4x the number of buttons

What do you think of it? I've been looking into a vertical mouse.

look at the hand position...much more natural for a man compared to the normal mouse which is much more conducive to women

You gonna pay $150.00 for a mouse, you might as well buy the best wireless mouse on the market:

Logitech G900

Logitech G900 Amazon

I have been using a $10 TeckNet 2.4G Nano Wireless Mouse 5 Button from amazon. Used it for a couple of years drawing floor plans. Drag and drop walls, door openings, ect. The logitech it replaced was a piece of shite.
