WOW- Morocco actually won the vote to host 2010 Cup

Meh. It was still played in Africa. Who wants to play in the desert anyway. It would be absurd to play a WC in the desert

There was also reports about how when they announced there would be an African WC, how I think it was Egypt was putting their bid together and FIFA reps were asking for bribes and they went back to the sports minister and he said nope were not going to try and host.

Makes sense given the things that have now been reported. I remember them dropping out making news since there aren't exactly many African countries capable of hosting in the first place.

Was Morocco hosting the 2013 and 2014 Club World Cups a pat on the back from FIFA for taking their bribes but not coming through for the 2010 World Cup? (Obviously the CWC isn't even close to the scale of the World Cup)

Don't know about this and that bribe to host but IMO the 2002 WC was the most rigged.
