Let’s be honest they have been the better side too

US has more shots and 2/3 of the possession

By what metrics? They look sloppy as hell too.

It now comes down to goals... Which team scores the most vs the minnows.

These terrible MLS players dominated possession and tied against 6 EPL players. By logic the EPL must be a trash league.

Disappointing, but could have been so much worse. So the group comes down to goal differential now!

What? I mean, yeah they had a penalty attempt but that feels a little weird to include here.

Outside of that I’m not sure how you could genuinely make the argument Jamaica had better chances.

US had more SOG. I mean if you want to get nitpicky, the US was one Matt Miazga staying home on the trap play from winning. It literally took the US screwing up for Jamaica to come away with 1 point.

You cannot, in good faith. But some aren’t arguing in good faith.

I don’t think anyone is arguing that we looked good.

Are you arguing with yourself? The US looked bad. That being said, we had youth players, guys returning from injury and limited practice time. These are all depth dudes. I want them to play better, but compared to their counterparts whom half play in the EPL, they faired well. Needs lots of work but if Jamaica is the team to beat in the tournament, I don't see why the US can't win. They were not impressive.

Cowell needs the start next time. If the point of this is to build quality depth and challenge the “A” squad, Morris isn’t ever going to be good enough.

I still can't believe they actually started Morris on the left.

IMO, they looked better and won the first half. We looked better and won the second half. For the players we used, their inexperience, and the lack of playing together, I am not upset by the result. I look for improvement throughout the tournament.

I literally can take no positives away from this team. I can’t watch Morris Roldan and Long. The absolute state of the MLS the fact they are stars…

Overall with the talent we had in that starting lineup I will gladly take a draw.

Next two games should be winnable if we can take care of business.

Figure out the lineup for the next two games BJ and then give us your best effort in the knockout rounds.
