One question I have is at the bottom it says "spending on both youth and women's football by clubs will not count towards losses"

On the youth clubs, does that mean that players purchased or infrastructure for the youth sides won't count as losses?

Doing things like city and Southampton with brand new academies won't count as losses when factoring money the club has spend vs what it brings in. It can be seen as a temporary write off.

I love this. This is exactly what we were calling for. A grace period allowing clubs to spend more if it translates to a better balance book in the future by success in competition. Well done by UEFA.

A disgrace. They didn't want to do the right thing so the courts will do it for them.
