Lloris is playing better than any keeper in the world right now. We don't deserve him. He could be winning titles somewhere.

Spurs played much better than this scoreline will show. City's 2nd goal was complete bullshite. Next match we play that involves this ref, the game plan should be: fall the frick down, whenever you can.

We lost 4-1 today, but I can honestly say that I am even more confident that we are headed in the right direction with Pochettino.

Yeah I really liked the attitude of the team the first 70 or so minutes. Didn't just sit back and play scared on the road against a top squad and created plenty of opportunities. The defense got caught out a bunch, but that's gonna happen when you play aggressively against a team like City and we've got Lloris to bail us out. If we ever find some finishing, this is gonna be a really good squad.

I think we need to go for a striker during the winter window. Soldado just doesn't have it.

I agree. I do feel like he is trying though. Just nothing is coming together for him.

We need attacking help.

Also a combo of Fabio and Kaboul (and Dier) is way too slow. And not one you deploy against Man City!!

Here is video of pregame, halftime, and post game in the tunnel. Pretty interesting to see all of the interactions. Everybody loves Adebayor. Kompany is such a badass. You can just tell. Probably my favorite non-Spurs player.

We needed a striker in the summer window. I'm still shocked that we didn't get one.

I think we looked, but after spending so much on Soldado, Levy and Baldini hoped he would pan out under Pochettino. There isn't really even am obvious choice out there. It's not like we could draw a Diego Costa type player.

I don't think we need a Costa-type player. Hell, doesn't even have to be a big name IMO. I just think we need to find someone, somewhere, that fits Pochettino's system. Honestly, they couldn't do any worse than Soldado has....or really Ade has sadly enough.

But Valencia Soldado seemed pretty good for Poch's system. I feel like every player gets worse at Spurs.
