5th feels pretty good.

Young core that is improving. Good system in place. A few offseason moves.

Yep

fricking roller coaster of a season
Won't ever forget watching us thrash Chelsea on New Year's Day, or the NLD.
Finished on a high note, big summer ahead of us, next year will be awesome in the 2nd season in Poch's system. The experience for all the young guys will pay massive dividends

Great way to end the season. First half was just dominant. 5th seems pretty good with a 1st year manager and the 6th largest budget. Cull some of the dead wood, add one or two of the young guys on loan, plus a couple more (Wimmer, ?) and make a push for CL in 15/16.

Netting? No, it's just a regular pair of shorts. 1 layer of fabric.

These shorts are amazing. Must be made out of unicorn hair. Just ordered the away ones as well. I didn't see a comparable model on UA's website...is this type of shorts exclusive to Spurs??

Maybe not exclusive to Spurs, but possibly to their soccer clubs.

5th is a good achievement considering how completely piss poor our back line was for this season. Easily one of the worst defenses in the league. I do hope Levy gives Poch a good deal of control and decent budget to bring in some guys that fit his system. Also, very hopeful that we drop some more dead weight.

Centerback signing early in the window. Can't ask for more.

Sounds like we've been linked with Anthony Martial from Monaco. He's always one of the first players I pick up in FIFA career mode.

I just saw that too. Honestly never heard of the kid....but it would be pretty hard to be less productive than Bobby or Ade. The price tag I read seemed kind of high though...$30 million.

That does seem high but he's a very versatile player and only 19 years old.

Also saw where Liverpool and Arsenhole have shown interest in Bentaleb. Would hate to see him go but that seems to be a place where we have some good young talent so it might be a good move if we can get them to overpay.

Eff that, pay the man. Bentaleb is an Academy product and played his arse off. Hoping he stays and improves.

WTF guys. You buy Yedlin and then keep stocking up on right backs? What gives? Do spuds hate America that much?

Oh, and having an Arsenal fan bump this from the fifth page?

Maybe we are considering playing Yedlin at RW...much like Jurgy has been lately.

Great update article on who we are trying to get rid of:

Tottenham Plan Massive Summer Clear Out

quote:

Tottenham Hotspur are ready for a huge summer clear-out in the hope that up to 10 first-team players will leave.
Aaron Lennon, Paulinho, Younès Kaboul, Etienne Capoue, Benjamin Stambouli are all for sale and are expected to go in the next few weeks with deals already under discussion and, in some cases, in place. DeAndre Yedlin is due to go on loan after Kieran Trippier was signed from Burnley for £3.5?million.
Spurs have rejected offers for Roberto Soldado and Vlad Chiriches but will sell both of them if their valuations are met. New offers are expected.

That's the problem, they only offered an already opened can. They should hold out for an unopened can.
