I think the answer is "NO". That means we're regressing. I'm just going to put this out here but I kind of think the Klinsmann thing was going after a flashy German name, but Bradley was/is the better coach.

isnt Jurgen the man when it comes to development tho? I don't know anything about tactics or coaching but our talent pool is 10 times better now. Also I don't know how many of those foreigners we would have got with Bradley.

Our current backline against the likes of Ronaldo, Nani, Gyan, Ayew, Muller, Shurle, Gotze.

We probably wouldn't have gotten a point

No, but this also isn't the team we would take to a World Cup if it were this summer.

Is this a serious post? Do you really think we'd have bring this team, experiment this much, and have so many lineup and formation changes from match to match in a World Cup? There's no fricking chance in hell we bring and start Brooks and Alvarado in a World Cup held today.

It's like he didn't do the same exact shite building up to the last World Cup. Does NO ONE else remember the whole "mutiny" shite that was rumored soon after he came in and the crazy lineup choices he made early on? When it came down to the real shite, we had a pretty solid squad. I can accept the "we're where we were before" criticism, but we are in no way regressing. This is the first year in a new World Cup cycle in a tournament that we send our B squad to every other time it comes around. We just beat Germany and the Netherlands in European friendlies. I don't care how much people downplay it. For our program, it's ignorant to say it wasn't a huge deal.

I understand everyone's upset, but I'm really struggling to cope with this type of shite.

I think it's time for everyone to realize Bob is dead, and he's not coming back.

He was a good manager for us. His time with the USMNT had probably run its course though.

Not to mention, he was just as flawed and had just as many miscues. I'm not sure when Bob became this martyr who was ousted for worse. I really liked the guy, but it was almost universally agreed that we needed to take a chance on someone else. He absolutely struggled time and time again with adjustments, which really kind of takes away from his superiority tactically. How much of an advantage is it when an opponent adjusting to counter it is met with nothing? Not to mention, we lived and died by the long ball. At the very least, we create a nice goal here and there from time to time now.

We are recruiting young talent, the pool just keeps growing, and we're performing just as well if not slightly better statistically in terms of results under Jurgen (~57%). All things considered, we came out 2% and a larger pool in the positive from the change. Not the revolution everyone seemed to think would happen, but we're not in any worse shape than we were.

To be honest, JK gets some blame.... but we had SO MANY chances at goal. I know it's outlandish and everyone goes after coaches...

but I mostly blame the players. Just wasn't our day, everything we launched was stopped, even our only goal was stopped and slapped back in.

I think this is fair. AJ missed a sitter and then put any of the other 18 shots a foot to the left or right and you win. (simplistically speaking)
