Cameron had 13 clearances, 2 blocks and 2 successful tackles. That is an immense amount for a centerback facing the pressure he had today. He also had 5 "recoveries" according to OPTA, which is a good thing I guess.

We have a long way to go. I'm not sure we've hit our turning point, yet.

[quote]Howard was headed toward the U.S. bus, but he decided to stop at the sign bearing the Stars and Stripes flag, "Estados Unidos," and a string of misery in the form of U.S. results here over the decades. U.S. kit man Jesse Bignami pulled out his cell phone and snapped a picture of Howard in a triumphant pose next to an artifact that was no longer accurate.

"Time to change the sign," Howard said, wearing a proud smile. "Time to change the sign."

He recovered well from his first 10 minutes, which included some shaky passing/clearances, and a Gooch-like slip that almost put Chicharito in on goal.

Cameron was strong. Even moreso, Edu was invisible, which is exactly what I want from a central defender.

Great performance by him. First game in that shite hole and he plays like that. Hats off.
