1 "shot." One. O-N-E. And that shot was a pass. Pathetic. Oh, now they rescinded the shot. Not even a SHOT. No shots on goal. Legit we played 90 minutes and didn't have a shot.

Nobody really expected us to win, so we might as well have just gone for it. Instead Jurgen starts a bunch of has-beens who, unsurprisingly, play at a near-record suboptimal level. Oh, and when it's 3-0, our manager put on a CB. Thankful we have a manager who will protect a 3-0 deficit like Jurgy. I am mad. This is my melt.

I have no idea how y'all aren't mad. I didn't really expect to win, but that was legitimately one of the worst performances I've ever seen. No shots in 90 minutes is actually appalling. There are A LOT of bad performances where the team that got curb-stomped at least had a half chance.

I'm super mad.

And getting madder by the second watching Klinsmann suck Messi and Argentina's collective dicks in his press conference.

I don't think we needed to go after them, but we didn't even pack it in and make things difficult

i guess im just kinda numb to it. we've seen this kind of limp performance before, even in this tournament, though maybe for only a half here or there.

once the lineup was announced, i figured itd be an ugly, route 1 style gameplan and it was.

i can only hope that this is the last hurrah for some of these guys and a real wakeup call to jurgen. but i felt all this after the gold cup, and nothing much has changed. im about all out of fricks to give at this time.

He could be 86. He is arguably our best player.

And this probably came across as a Klinsmann rant. It was supposed to. But it should also just say how poorly the team played. I would expect a team with a dog as the manager to generate a shot or two....

I ain't even mad at this one. 3 starters out against the number 1 team in the world with some stupid replacements (wondo, Beckerman). We have a pretty good window the next 4-8 years to really make some noise with some really good young talent that is coming up. It could be worse.

That's what I'm saying. I know if we are very honest, very few of us expected to win. But it was 4-0 and we went 90 minutes without a single shot. That's real bad mkay. I'm super upset with what I watched. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Everybody else seems way more calm than I am, and I'm jealous.

If they are missing 1/4 of their starters? Jurgy f*cked up the lineup big time. We played like crap. But if those three players don't get suspended for this game we aren't having this conversation.

Yes we are. Even Tahiti attempted a shot when they lost to Spain 10-0. I don't think people truly grasp how hard it is to not shoot one shot the entire game. I still can't comprehend it. I don't care who we trot out. The U.S. isn't an elite team like Argentina, but there is no excuse for a performance that abysmal.
