Nah not really. Their fans mirror cowboys and Yankees fans very much. Full of themselves, douches, think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread and everyone should bow down in their presence.

yes the American fan base represents United. Coming from a city fan this is rich b/c city's English fan base is utter shite.

All I'm saying is if united had only won one or two titles in history, they wouldn't be near as big as they are.

I'm not sure why that upsets you so much. It's a compliment really

Just keep proving you don't know shite. Even Bhoy shat on you comparing United with Arsenal and Chelsea. You don't know shite about soccer out side the MLS and you are looking foolish.

They would be no bigger than the evertons and tottenhams of the EPL. Supported well. But not a global brand like Liverpool, arsenal, and Chelsea.

This was my statement. Are Liverpool arsenal and Chelsea not global brands?

also proving you are clueless

If united only had half the titles they would be more successful than Chelsea or Arsenal. Before SAF they were a bigger club than both but in your dumb arse mind they would not be at either clubs level

I don't care if you hate United. Most people do, and that is fantastic. You just suck as a poster. 98 percent of the stuff you have put in this thread is complete BS you're just making up as you go along. Stick to the Dynamo, you're half as annoying when you drone about them.

Right. But nobody said half the tiles. I said one or two.

Let me ask you this. How many teams in the world have only won one or two titles and have even close to the support of united?

United has the support they do because of their success. Congrats on your favorite club being good (in history)

How would you know? You only interact with Americans and make sweeping generalizations based on the American fans you know.

With as many titles as Arsenal or Chelsea they would still be bigger. Keep ignoring that Manchester used to be a massive city, same with Liverpool.

I still don't understand why y'all are so angry. I am saying united is so well supported because of their success.

Why does that offend you so much?

And London isn't?

The premise of this whole argument you had with SCH is completely stupid. We are American fans of a club nowhere near us. We are bandwagoners, or we are trying to be so anti-bandwagon that we support a largely unsuccessful team.

And of course United wouldn't be a global success if they didn't win titles when the game truly went global. But when you say United would be definitely smaller than Arsenal or Chelsea or Liverpool if they had their number of titles is ridiculous. I don't see how you tried to get under people's skin with this thing, but you did, so congratulations! You win.

Do some fricking research about Manchester and Liverpool during their days.

London supports multiple big teams. Before the mass exodus of people from the NW of England and its shipping and other industry works. It was a thriving and massive area. Both cities basically supported one team each. Do the fricking math.

That's been my whole point all along.

I picked United to watch when I was a little kid because I loved playing with them on FIFA and my dad had a couple of their old jerseys. I'll be the first to admit I didn't have some lofty aspirations for picking United, but I was also in the second grade. I have developed a deep connection with my club after all these years, but, yes, I was an elementary school bandwagoner and IDGAF.

His redic statements get shot down with facts in football history.

If you pick a club and will go to bat for them learn their history and learn their rivals history before you start talking shite.

no you are right you are just sounding like a complete dumbass say shite like this

quote:

They would be no bigger than the evertons and tottenhams of the EPL

Saying the only team in a major city like Manchester would be on the same level as the 3rd team in London and the 2nd in Liverpool proves how out of touch/new you are to English soccer.
