Here's a good read about Liga MX's Club Tiajuana and their San Diego fan base. SD is probably the most underserved soccer community in the country, how they don't have an MLS team is beyond me.

Good read. I remember someone posting an article on them a year or so ago from SI (I think)...really interesting story.

Frankly, at this point--SD couldn't have an MLS team. The attention is being taken by Tijuana. It'd be crazy/cool if MLS could somehow convince Tijuana to join MLS.

I posted an article several months back, and it may have been this exact one. It's a great little story about a team that seems to be doing a lot of the right things in a league that often has its issues. I would love to see a game there one day. Seems like quite the experience.
