Atlanta is getting a really nice core. If they get guardado and some solid defenders, they are instantly a playoff candidate.

It's going to be interesting to see how long it takes them to figure out how to play together and gel as a team. I imagine for the first half of the season there'll be some growing pains as guys adjust to their roles and learn the system.

I read where Atlanta signed D Michael Parkhurst. He has lost a step and is on the back end of his career yet he is an experienced veteran who should provide depth and leadership for the club.
I am also impressed at how the club spent $8M to sign Almiron. He is a young, talented player. It will be interesting to see if he can step into that #10 role.
