Okay, so I've been keeping up somewhat with the Neymar and Messi tax fraud cases, but I saw today that Mascherano was brought down with some tax charges as well.

Does anyone have any insight as to why this happens more notably in soccer than it appears to happen here in the states? Also, is it just a coincidence that all three of these guys play for Barca?

You really are pathetic.

If Rangers are no more why do you and so many Celtic fans still care so much? Why was last years league cup game a sell out?

You Celtic fans are delusional as frick.

How does a black US serviceman living in Germany, and now England, get to be so vehement and constant in their defense of Rangers?

I get you following a German side, and even Manu, but Rangers?

Is it because he of the purple nose and red face?

Never have a flawed sense of a player that might woop your teams arse if given the chance.

I started watching them in the Captain America days

Rangers is also very popular with the British Armed Forces who are our brothers in arms.

Is your allegiance to them superior or inferior, to that of Man United?

'Murkin sports stars typically play in Murka, so they only deal with the IRS. if i went to go be a lawyer in spain it would be much harder for the IRS to keep track of what i make, let alone what i owe them

also Europe, esp southern Europe, has issues with tax collection in general. Greece and Italy notably (i'd imagine Spain is up there)

article about being American and tax issues living abroad

now imagine being a 20-22 year old kid who is cocksure, making millions, and making it in all sorts of underhanded ways. do you REALLY think they're going to start forking over half of that european endorsement money they're getting paid in cash for a reason?

United has always been and will always be #1

Rangers has always had American on the team the last 15 years. Watching the SPL on Foxsports world when it was good back in the late 90's early 2000's was pretty awesome. Got hooked watching the Old Firm. Had a guy in a few of my classes that had family from Dublin than moved to Glasgow, so of course he was a Celtic fan and he educated me on the Old Firm and talked alot of shite.

Also in Europe a lot of times you can get away with not paying your taxes for years and not get in trouble when you finally do. Clearly high profile athletes who would owe a lot more will get caught up.

When you have things like VAT added to everything and people sometimes have 50% of their wages taxed to cover socialized everything they might let a few foreign people slip through the cracks.

Love hitting up those desks in the airports. It feels more like them giving you money for visiting their country at that point rather than you getting your sales tax back.
