Weird game that didn't feel like a 4-0 loss. First 30 minutes were good. After half we looked dead tired for some reason. Mawson looked good again and continues to improve. McBurnie was a bright spot late. Naughton was atrocious. Cork was useless. He can't pass it forward. Hopefully Narsingh can provide that much needed pace to run behind the defense and provide some creativity and quality in the final third which is scarce.

yeah i agree we really didn't play that bad.

yes arsenal were attacking a lot at certain points but they literally could not score unless we touched the ball before it was shot

Mawson deflection to giroud
2 own goals
and then on the last goal our player went in on a challenge and the ball bounced off his foot to the wide open arsenal player

again im not denying the fact that we looked sloppy on D (especially Fernandez being slow on the last goal) but arsenal weren't taking advantage of the pressure. For instance the right before giroud scored they had wonderful build up but the final ball was too much for Giroud. Had they scored that i would be fine. But no, a shitty ozil header takes a poor deflection off mawson. It was all so unlucky and it pisses me off so much

I liked what i saw from Borja and Mcburnie on at the same time, if they can get their chemistry and understanding that could work. Also thought Fer was good when he came on.

Still don't know about Borja. His movement was good but my god he missed another easy one with that header. Sooner or later he has to start doing something

Carroll was outstanding.

The traditore's second was reminiscent of many of the goals he scored in his final season at Athletic.

Was not expecting 1 much less 3 today. Carroll was excellent and key in the last 2 goals. He was my MOTM. Clement is already getting this team much more organized than they've been in months.

U21s in the quarters of the Checktrade Trophy or whatever today against Coventry City. They are the only U21 side remaining in the cup

They lost on pens 1-1 (2-4). Great run though.

Where are my pants

Got to my hotel and watched the replay of the game. The turnaround that Clement has gotten on the defensive side of the ball in such a short time is pretty remarkable. Mawson looks like a future captain. Cork seems to be born again with Clement and Makelele on the sidelines. Caroll has been a revelation of a signing so far in his 2 games. Narsingh looked good in his 30 minute cameo today. And my man love for Gylfi is just simply perverted at this point.

Man City away this weekend so anything from that would be more than welcome. Then Leicester at home which is another 6 pointer.

FYI, not sure if it's been announced. Solid chance Swansea comes over sometime during the summer and plays in Philadelphia against the Union

Cocks out boys

Alfie continues to be an amazing find. What a strike today

Saw a stat where Neil Taylor never scored in his 160 appearances for Swansea and Olsson scored in his 4th game

Relegation will be realistically be decided for us in the next 4 games:

Burnley (H) – 3pm, Saturday March 4
Hull (A) – 3pm, Saturday March 11
Bournemouth (A) – 3pm, Saturday March 18
Middlesbrough (H) – 3pm, Saturday April 1

I think 7 points is easily attainable

Late to the game talk on this one but that was an interesting one. That handball that Taylor gave in the 1st half might have been the worst I have ever seen. Here are the game highlights if you missed it - LINK

They don't show it very well but off that corner the ball clearly goes off Vokes' arm, every Swansea player immediately appeals for handball, Burnley plays on for a few seconds and then Taylor gives the penalty. I am not all for the refs listening to players, but holy shite man use your contextual clues there. Joey fricking Barton was the only one who put his hand up for a split second.

Anyway, great response from the Swans after going 2-1 down. Our opener was also beautiful with a great cross from Fer. Llorente will not miss those headers. Second goal showed the threat on the left that Gylfi, Carroll and Olsson have become. DAT GYLFI BACKHEEL

And then the winner late. Carroll again with an amazing cross and Llorente buries another. The reaction from the crowd was awesome.

Hull away now. Honestly would be happy with a point here as they have been much improved under Silva.

Carroll, Olsson and Narsingh have made games fun to watch again. This looks like a whole new team. Enjoyed seeing Narsingh in the starting lineup.

Yes they do. I liked Narsingh in there as well. PC has definitely been a little more conservative with Routs on the RW to start so he can help Naughton defensively. I think you will see Routs back in there against more attacking and better sides. Naughton is just too much of a liability out there. Also the service that Llorente is finally getting is allowing his quality to shine through.

15 points in 8 games in 2017 which is 5th best in the league

Man f that game this weekend. Hull's tactics were straight up kick them hard and kick them often. It was a throwback to Pulis' Stoke sides. The ref let it go and didn't call half the shite that was normally a foul or give out the yellows that should have been given out. It was a "well he wasn't murdered so I will let it go line of thinking"

With that said, Routs was awful missing those chances. Would have completely changed the game. I know he's in there for defensive cover on the right but my god he is useless in attack. Just give Narsingh the job.

And the defending on their 2 goals was the worst we've had since PC took over. No excuse for that

The U23s clinched Div 2 in the PL2 today with 2 games left to go. Will win the league by a nice margin.
