That was pretty surprising to see that kind of behavior from them. But I would be kind of pissed too if my team didn't come out ready to play and the other team did.

I mean id totally understand if they were lobbing them at the linesman for his fricktard missing the ball go out on the second goal. But no need to throw them at the Timbers players.

for sure was not the standard the MLS wants in its showcase especially with it being broadcast around the world.

I thought the play was decent. There were a lot of good sequences and I found the game to be highly entertaining. It was the suspect refereeing that tarnished the game more than anything. Missed handball in the box (on the line no less) against Parkhurst and the second Portland goal come to mind.

The goalkeeping was bad in the first 20 minutes of the game, but aside from that do y'all really think that the level of play was that bad?

The handball could have gone either way. I don't have a problem with that not getting called. The second Portland goal was inexcusable.

Maybe we are just used to the crazy amount of bad balls being played to the other team.

It's like watching a team of Jordan Henderson

It was more entertaining then anything United have done in the last two months.

It wasn't that bad, two of the three goals were shite, the second Portland goal was nice but tarnished by missed call by ref. I thought that Columbus would have created more chances at home, but credit Portland's defense who have played very well these playoffs. They really neutralized Higuain's distribution.

Columbus was very deadly at home this season and that edge wasn't with them yesterday. Portland was well in control of the match which probably upset some neutrals.

To be fair...Cup finals, no matter what part of the world, don't usually bring out the prettiest play from either team

I was surprised the announcers didnt say anything about stuff being thrown on the field.

That's the Nordecke and The Hudson Street Hooligans. You don't want to celebrate a goal in front of them. Especially in a Cup.

To be fair, #9 had asked for a cold beverage, so unfortunately 30ish fans offered theirs up.

Hooligans lulz

West Ham fans went right up in that section a few years ago and gave zero fricks.
