Might have something to do with more lurkers NOT posting in this thread.

There's one in Huntsville, and people have talked about starting one up in Birmingham.

If you get one going in Montgomery, I would definitely be interested in joining. Less than an hour away.

Did not know there was one in Huntsville. I think I checked the AO site about a year ago and they weren't listed. Where are you? It might be hard to find a place in Montgomery to watch the games, but I can think of a few locations in Birmingham that might be open to the idea.

At least I am not alone in my Man U leanings. What do you think of Kagawa? I like trying to fill the attacking mid role, we will see I guess. Really wanted modric or bale but looks like we will lose out on both from what I hear in the United forums.

But seriously the lurkers should post more. Even if you feel your knowledge isn't up to snuff, you won't get called out on it. If someone does jump on you unfairly, he usually gets called out for it.

Was one of the best players in the Bundesliga this past season. We desperately need midfielders that aren't wingers, and Kagawa is perfect for us. Can distribute and shoot.

I would have been surprised if we would've gotten either of them. SAF and Company like to get big players outside of the league or on smaller English clubs.

I lurk here for soccer knowledge. My knowledge deffinitely is not "up to snuff." I really would not have anything to contribute to the conversations. I am a casual fan (but I love international competition i.e. World Cup and Euro Cup). I do wish soccer was more popular in the US.

I live in the Ham and would be interested in finding a regular place to watch games as well.

My advice is to not let lack of knowledge deter you from posting, or even asking questions. This isn't the Rant or MSB where people are verbally assaulted on a regular basis.

By the way my fandom rankings are as such:

1)USA
2)'Merica
3)The Stars and Stripes
4) Anything Landon Donovan farts on
5)Attempting to become a Gunner fan
6) The perfect combination of Forlan and Swagotelli (I'm picturing Mario but with golden locks o' Thor.

Also played in high school and Fifa hard everyday

I went to Dave's pub in Bham a while back. They had soccer games on at night and they open early on weekends for the EPL games. That's one of the places I would have in mind. If any knows of a place in Montgomery, please let me know.

I guess I'm a lurker but I lurk on all the boards I read. I've been on the site for over 8 years and I still only have around 750 posts. I post and lurk here the most though.

Bravetiger you're kind words have inspired to leave behind my days of semi lurking and make and work harder at becoming a regular around these parts.

'Merica is the more patriotic version.
