He's a solid if unspectacular player. Would be a good signing. Puts pressure on City to bring in even more "home grown" players.

I know and this is just one more slot they have to fill. If I got a call from City on a home grown player I would ask for 150% of their actual value easy. Maybe 200%.

What's the rule in England regarding pre-contracts? I know they can sign within 6 months of their contract expiring to move abroad, but are they allowed to do the same when moving within England?
