Sam Allardyce has left his position as England manager by mutual consent after just one game in charge of the national team. Allardyce was filmed advising undercover journalists on how to circumvent rules against third-party ownership, according to the Daily Telegraph. Video accompanying the report shows Allardyce meeting twice with journalists posing as representatives of a Far East agency who were interested in bypassing rules from the Football Association and FIFA. "You can still get around it. I mean, obviously, the big money's here," Allardyce said on the video, while also calling the regulations "ridiculous."

Who do you want to see as the next England boss?
Sam Allardyce has lost his job as England manager after being caught in an undercover sting operation.
The FA decided to act after Allardyce agreed a £400,000 bogus contract to do after dinner speaking but his remarks made to two undercover reporters posing as businessmen are far worse.
He mocked former England boss Roy Hodgson's speech impediment and questioned Gary Neville's role.
Allardyce lasted just 67 days as England boss. Gareth Southgate has been placed in charge of the Three Lions' next four games and must surely be in contention for the permanent role.

Here we identify seven potential permanent replacements for Allardyce.
Gary Neville
Michael Regan - The FANeville worked alongside Hodgson during the failed Euros campaign
Critics will point to his ill-fated spell in Valencia as well as his association with Roy Hodgson during England's failed Euro 2016 campaign.
But Neville was the man who many thought would be the successor to Hodgson in the first place, before he felt compelled to walk away from his role with the national team after a summer of disappointment.
The former Manchester United defender has shown his tactical nous during his time on Sky Sports and would certainly be a popular choice with the public, even if people will doubt his time in La Liga.
Gareth Southgate

Southgate has admitted that he wants the "ultimate job" one day, although only recently confessed that he might not be ready for it just yet.
The England Under-21 manager will likely be the man to step into Allardyce's shoes in the short-term and an impressive start could see him retain the role.
He has done an impressive job with the young guns - leading them to their first Toulon tournament title since 1994 t his summer - and is well thought of in the Football Association set-up.

Alan Pardew
Ian WaltonPardew claims that he would one day like to become England manager
Like Southgate, Pardew admitted this summer that it might not be the right time for him to become England manager.
But he did make a pitch to become a future boss of the Three Lions in the summer, claiming that he had "strong opinions" of the international set-up.
Despite clearly being comfortable in his job role at Crystal Palace, where he has worked wonders, he is the bookmakers' favourite to take over at Wembley.
And one thing is for sure, it will likely mean a recall for Andros Townsend.
Steve Bruce
Mike HewittBruce is available after leaving Hull last month
Bruce was interviewed for the vacant England job this summer but his circumstances have changed massively since.
He has since walked away from his role of manager at Hull after a fallout with the club's owners and is available to make an immediate start if he gets the nod.
Bruce said he was "highly flattered" when he was approached by the Football Association but reports claim that he could be in line for a swift return to the Premier League with Stoke.
Jurgen Klinsmann

The USA manager of five years is another who was linked with the England job in the summer.
But unlike the other candidates for the job, the 52-year-old has a track record in international football, having also spent three years in charge of Germany.
Martin Glenn claimed following the Euros that they could look abroad for the next England manager if they have the credentials to be the right man for the job. LINK
