Portland, Seattle, LA, all of them would welcome him with open arms. Actually, the US is a pretty awesome place and I'm pretty sure most teams would welcome him. I would love to see him come back and play here.

Great article. I truly believe that if Rogers wants to get back into football, his only true impediment will be his lack of real international talent. He certainly has the ability to play somewhere, but he will never be in high demand and that has nothing to do with the fact that he's gay.

That's kind of what I got from it. It feels like he's making it into a much bigger deal than it really is.

Yup. Especially among football fans. The ones in Marseille (many North African Arabs, which didn't help) were super homophobic.
