1) Bayern Munich - reigning champs, clear-cut favorites. As good as this team was the last few years, they're more intimidating with Pep running the show.
2) Real Madrid - top challenger...this team has the most individual talent in the competition.
3) PSG - nobody watches their league matches, but they might be the most impressive team of the tourney this year.
4) Chelsea - maybe the worst offense of the group, but maybe the best defense.
5) Barcelona - They could just as easily be 4 on this list. They aren't as dominating as they were several years ago, but they made a really good City side look pedestrian.
6) Atletico - They score goals and are fun to watch and are a really good team...but they aren't a top 5 team in this contest.
7) Borussia Dortmund - I may be underrating last year's runner up but a few departures/injuries leave this year's team a bad draw away from a quick exit. Having maybe the best manager in CL won't hurt.
8) Man U - please draw 1,2,3, or 5

You put a team you are like 30 points ahead of at #3. That'd be like me being worried about Hull.

Bayern is good but Pep is scared of Chelsea and Mou.

I don't want to play a team that Bayern plays twice every year and that Klopp generally has done well against. If they're healthy, I don't want to play Dortmund in a two-legged tie at all.

I mean the table doesn't lie, you are miles better than them. They aren't the same team they have been the last 2-3 years and their striker is just killing time until he can join your team.

Not to mention he won't even be playing in the first leg.

Doesn't really matter. I'm not worried about how they do against other teams. They're a tough out against Bayern, that's why I said Bayern perspective and not a power ranking.

this.

if they're healthy, they're practically the same team that got to the CL final last year. they haven't been healthy all year.

Minus their best player and a striker that doesn't want to be playing for them.

seems hard to use both of those points in one sentence but bravo, randy

lewa's ridiculous suspension in the first leg hurts them more than anything.

Didn't Pep own Mou back in their La Liga days?

First season while Mou had to mold his team, second season Mou destroyed La Liga at a level that had never been done before and broke Pep so bad he had to quit.

Not to mention Chelsea's superiority to Barca in the CL while Pep was there.

The prospect of the two combined will probably send Pep into another sabbatical before the tie even begins.

Who is Bayern's top assistant? That's probably who we will be facing if that matchup comes to fruition.

their "best player" "didn't want to be playing for them" last year, which makes that point even better
