Weak sauce. Lob right to him. Not enough lift.

Romero's always been soft. There's a reason he isn't starting at Monaco.

There has been a LOT of good goalkeeping in this World Cup. That was not it.

I'm torn.

Part of me wants Argentina to win - they have a lot more pressure on their shoulders. Swiss are a good side. Tactically, I don't see a huge drop-off.

However, that dominating performance from Argentina can happen at any time...

I'm not. I want SUI over ARG in the quarters.

Is Di Maria's right foot that bad he has to try a robana on his left to get an easy cross in?

I do as well... Argentina is the better side on paper... but they've looked positively meh in this WC.

Are they, though? SUI has looked damn good outside of that France match.

Yep, but that means nil. Let's hope they pay today and never get the chance to wake up in Brazil.

I don't think he has to, but he's so uncomfortable with it that he'll bust out a rabona at least once every couple of games

It's common enough that I don't even get remotely excited when I see him do it

Should have been a foul on Argentina for a late tackle after the clearance, I thought. Those knees to the keepers kidneys couldn't have felt good either.
