I've only played a PES demo and it freaking sucked IMO, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that this trailer looked pretty damn awesome.
I can't even remember why I hated the game, but I just remember the controls were assbackwards.

The controls are definitely a lot harder, but PES used to be the top soccer game in Europe by a huge margin. They really struggled with the transition into HD>

Not having the licenses to several big leagues hurts, too.

Yep. Whenever your top two licenses are Bundesliga and J League, you're not going to compete.

That and the Champions League. I don't think they have many international teams either.
