even though it hurt their bottom line I was very happy that FCD lacked a sponsor up until the middle of last year.
I much prefer to brand the TEAM over some bullshite corporate sponsor that will change over every few years.

I never said it is cheap, it just looks cheap because you are used to seeing practice jerseys or youth teams with nothing on the front.

b/c if I'm going to team wear branded gear I'd rather rep the team than a random sponsor they currently use.
I get why they do it but that doesn't change that I think it looks tacky.

I get what you are saying but I actually have the opposite reaction when I see stuff with sponsors on it.
It makes me think the team can't function without plastering company logos all over the kit.
Kinda like little league baseball.
again, I get why they do it. I just prefer to see the team logos take center stage.
in my mind it'll be a sad day when NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, and college teams slap corporate sponsors all over their jersyes.
