he had two choices, commit to a challenge or force Kane to his left foot.

When he decided to force him to his left foot his angle was fine but you just can't fricking stand there. Omar looked super uncoordinated there.

And anyone who thinks that Besler didn't deserve to be called up and to start in the Gold Cup is missing some brain cells.

Omar is only good in the air. He's a disaster everywhere else.

It appeared to me that Kane forced Omar exactly where he wanted him....not the other way around as you suggest.

I don't think Omar forced Kane to do anything. When Kane moved to his right, Omar did the same.

as a CB or DM you are told to cut off the angle of the players stronger foot if you are not going in for a tackle.

He cut the angle off briefly but did nothing with his chance, instead he looked foolish.
