This helps explain why I couldn't get tickets to Tottenham v. West Ham last week and had to settle for Fulham v. Sheffield Wednesday. The Metropolitan Police put restrictions on the Tottenham tickets. English supporters are fricking insane.

what nah, all you needed was a Spurs membership to buy them. We almost went. But the way Spurs stub hub works you still need a membership.

I tried that. You had to have the membership before October 13 or it would not let you check out. I even emailed the club prior to the trip. Probably should have come here first. Also struck out with Middlesbrough (really wanted to see Chelsea) and Crystal Palace. I did score front row seats for Fulham though and it was the highlight of my son's trip.

Given the fact that West Ham tore the seats out against Chelsea, I figure there was reason for concern. Apparently, there was a stabbing outside White Hart Lane when they last played. Good times.
Our Black Cab driver's daughter played for Millwall and he was a West Ham supporter. I instantly regretted telling him we toured Stamford Bridge, but he was totally cool.
