Good for Mexico. Their poor performance was twice masked by the referee.

The US isn't lucky enough for Jurgen to punch someone.

Herrera is a loose cannon. Kind of like Ozzie Guillen.

Honestly, I liked watching him as a manager, even if I hated who he managed. Dude was passionate as shite.

Official news:
He got the snake eyes

quote:

"After listening to all my colleagues who are part of this federation, and reasoning I have made the decision to take Miguel Herrera out of the national team," said incoming federation president Decio de Maria in a statement on Tuesday. "It is not a simple decision, but it is the correct one.

Translation: Team is going to the shitter quick and got bailed out on two dubious PK calls in 2 games.

Didn't Ozzie Guillen kill some folks and bury them in his yard?

So I'll ask the obvious question, do we bring Herrera in to replace Jurgy?

Let's just annex Mexico and take their best players, wives, and drug money. But I want Blanco as player-manager.

So we lose to Jamaica in the semi after a lack-luster group stage, and keep our coach. Mexico when's the cup and fires theirs. Makes sense...

Did you miss the entire portion of this where their manager punched a reporter? That factored in to Herrera's firing just a little.
