Yeah, silver lining is that it was an exciting match featuring Manchester United, which is rare.
Also, no Top 4 means this will probably (hopefully) (please God) do it for LvG.

Well, duh. But it ain't gonna happen.
Even if Swansea beats City, United have to beat a team that beat them earlier this season.
And the fact that sentence is a true statement makes it even more infuriating.

Hypothetical looking at table:
Man United wins FA Cup, 7th place becomes EL spot
Liverpool finishes 7th, but wins EL and qualifies for CL
England's final EL spot goes to Southampton in 8th
It could happen...

Is the Europa League winner spot just a free spot? It doesn't take away a spot from England, right?

You could be right. I'd have to read the regulations a bit deeper.

Bilic just gave a GOAT level post match interview. Almost as if he was drunk.

Take notes City fans. This is how you end the last home game.

To be fair Maine Road went out the right way even though they lost. But the post 2008 fans would know nothing about that.

Conflicting info. Sky says if Liverpool win EL and finish top 7 England "likely" to lose an EL spot. Not sure why only likely.
If Pool finish 8th, according to Sky, but win EL then England does get 8 teams in Europe.
Horribly confusing.

No, because WHUFC has real fans not the plastic variety that sporadically occupies at the Emptyhad.
