Oh man, that's heartbreaking for Minnesota. Loons nearly hold on for what would have been a hard-earned point in Seattle. Instead, they commit a handball in the box on literally Seattle's last chance of the game, and Dempsey buries the PK in the 95th minute.
Kind of sums up their MLS life so far. They're not getting embarrassed like they were early on in the season, but this isn't a team that will claw out of the league cellar any time soon. Hopefully the new stadium they're getting soon inspires them to upgrade the roster a little bit. They need a real gamechanger to come in as a DP. Splash the cash.
