I was being completely facetious about being Jewish. But I do love the history behind Yid Army. And I love the working class nature of Spurs supporters.

And spending time with American supporters groups, it's a pretty damn great community.

What? Ask anyone here if they picked their team because they didn't like the way the team played. That would make no sense. People are drawn to teams they can watch often and watch them play well. When I started watching games, that team was Chelsea. Would I have picked them anyway? Likely. That was the team I was introduced to by my friends in Northern Ireland several years earlier, but the interest didn't stick until I found myself seeing them on tv week in and week out. Now I've gone to multiple games this season while living just west of London and everything has expanded tenfold. Thats the thing that happens when you start your fandom in America where everyone is a bandwagoner of some sort.

Banter is fine by all means, it just gets extremely tiresome when all the banter towards you is aimed at saying you're a fan for all the "wrong" reasons.

Fair enough and good story. I said earlier I didn't exactly hold Chelsea in that regard, just enjoy the clever nicknames and dropping them every now and then.

As for Man City. frick them.

Are you trying to talk shite or be the nice guy? You switch back and forth with each post and sometimes even within posts.

You consider "plastics" clever?

What are your thoughts about your club's supporters nickname, "murderers"?

I don't know, I guess similar to yours and racists? Plastics is a pretty harmless dig at a funny tradition.

Not even comparable honestly, but if you want to take it to that level, be my guest. I think you need to chill out man, you're top of the table by a mile.

By all means call me gobshite if you need to feel better.
