He's a moron for putting his head in Barry's face. Still not convinced he bit him, though. Costa is definitely capable of that level of delinquent behavior, but I just feel like Barry would've reacted a lot more if Costa sunk his teeth into Barry's neck. It was such a weird sequence of events. Men In Blazers tweets are

And we bring on John Terry for his 700th appearance away in stoppage time down 2-0. Thanks Guus.

Oh and the striker we sold Lukaku for is biting people after walking off in the CL two days ago. FML F Costa

Adding insult to injury. I never was in favor of "giving up" on RL. Only fitting that he puts us to the rack. Apart from a likely impossible task of climbing back into the top 6 of the table, this season will be a total train wreck.

Well, Costa is the only player who can score in Chelsea's team these days sooooooooooooo....

Gonna be fun to lose 2 or 3 nil every game now that he's going to be suspended into oblivion

Look on the brightside. Now Chelsea can focus all their efforts into chasing that top 4.

Ugh. It's all so preventable. People know they can get under Costa's skin with a few tough challenges, and he's incapable of shrugging it off. He needs to learn to not let people get a rise out of him, but instead he just has to act like a petulant child.

ETA: If he could just cut this dumb stuff out of his game, he's a world class striker. I love the fire that he plays with. He's a passionate warrior. But he goes way over the line sometimes like today.

To me, it looked like he was about to bite him and thought better of it at the last second.

I would be a fan if he didnt do all that stupid shite and would just play the game. Dude has a ton of talent and doesnt need to bring that to win.

But he does it, so I hope he breaks a leg and goes away.

.@RobbieSavage8 says Diego Costa deserves credit for the restraint he showed by not biting Gareth Barry. Agree?
