The one Valencia had late was absurd, too.

Palermo is absolute trash. They will be relegated. Two great goals from Ljajic however. Falque was also boss.

Sounds like I'm glad I spent the game getting the car detailed and raiding the liquor store.

It was visual Ambien. At least until we brought on Lallana and started pressing in the 60th.

There was clearly a better team today. Don't make excuses for your worst ever possession stats in the history of the premier league.

Did you watch the first half? Bc United where the better team in the first half and had Liverpool running around chasing the ball. The second half Liverpool was better once they brought Lallana on.

Klopp even said you didn't do enough to deserve the win.

Meh. You never threatened to score.

Haha because what else is he supposed to say? Hes not going to pull a Jose and start blaming refs.

There were only 3 good chances the whole match. Both teams looked awful in the final third. Neither side looked the better team. Liverpool didn't even look like it could attack until Lallana came on.

Well he was being honest, it was a shite match by both teams.

Did he do that last night, b/c I don't recall. I know he took a dig at the media for being all over Liverpool's dick

Each team had chances to win it. Ibra could (should) have scored on Pogba's cross and if he was more aware on the giveaway from your keeper he might've been able to creep back onside. Obviously for y'all Coutinho's shot and Valencia's last ditch tackle on firmino. You can include Can's shot that de Gea saved as well.

Possession stat compared to chances is pretty misleading.

With our run of matches coming up a point at Anfield is fine.

Liverpool, Fenerbache , Chelsea, City in a span of 10 days is brutal

True, but my point is that after neither team could really muster anything, lallana came on and for 30 minutes it was all one sided. I feel like a broken record at this point but without De Gea making two absolutely world class (in the truest sense of the word) saves, its 2-0. More than anything I'm astounded that I just watched a United team afraid to go toe to toe with and attack Liverpool. I've literally never seen that in my lifetime. Maybe that's something I'll have to get used to now that Jose is there, but a team of that quality and price being played as a bus is just bizarre.

Largely shite. The last 30 minutes once lallana came on was a blitz.

I didn't say he did I just think that's manager speak for 90% of the league. I did enjoy his digs at crowd and the media though. He can't stand to not be the center of attention.

I wasn't using the possession stat to compare who should have won, just to illustrate how utterly un-United the performance was.

i think it's also worthwhile to say that we defended in the high block for the majority of the match. intercepting possession and creating turnovers in the midfield with our pressure.

this really goes against the whole "parking the bus" narrative that typically follows Jose.

i'm fine with the point, the performance, and how we were set up, especially with our gauntlet coming up.

So first 30mins United, dominated last 30 mins Liverpool did.

So no one was the better team, it was a bad match that was a chees match with no one close to winning.

My point is you didn't try to score. You defended very, very well. But a United team not interested in scoring in a northwest derby is something I struggle to understand. Especially with 200+ million of the best players on the planet.

You keep ignoring the fact that Karius could've set up a cot in goal. I'm trying to emphasize that on one end we saw a header in which the keeper didn't have to move his feet and a few shots from 25 yards out.

On the other end David De Gea is having to show why he's still the best goalkeeper in the world. That is where I see the difference.

We can agree to disagree, though. If United run this gauntlet they have coming up until December 4th with some success I'll come back and eat as much crow as you guys want to serve, and give your boys their due. I just think Mourinho is wholly the wrong manager for your club.
